There are a handful of tanneries in the world that can produce this finish on genuine leather. It's not a coating. It's not synthetic. It's a specialized foil process applied directly to cowhide, and the result is something that looks different every time you pull it out.

Handmade bifold. Laser cut, Machine sewed. Black finished backing gives you a clean interior with no lining and no bulk.
